The VIS Group Team is a close-knit group of professionals who share a passion for delivering excellent service and results. We recognize that each member brings unique skills and strengths and that we can accomplish more together than we ever could alone. Please read on to meet a few members of our team!
Eugene – Chief Executive Officer
Where are you from? Ukraine, I have lived in Washington since 2015.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? Japan and Australia.
What do you find special about VIS? Our people and processes, which result in a great product that we deliver to our clients!
If you could swap roles with anyone on the team for a day, who would it be and why? It would switch with a customer service team member. It is a very important piece of our services and I would love to advocate for our homeowners!
What’s your hidden talent or a fun fact about you? I love snowboarding but I don’t have much time for it. A fun fact about me – when I focus on something I get fully disconnected from the environment and do not notice what’s going around me.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? It’s the advice that I got from my dad: Never let material things become more important than spiritual things in your life.
Trista – Director of Administration
Where are you from? I grew up in small town Montana but spent the last several years in Ellensburg before moving to the Lacey area.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? Travel is one of my favorite hobbies, and I’ve been fortunate enough to take a few amazing trips. I would love to one day experience the midnight sun in Iceland.
What do you find special about VIS? What I really find special is our sense of teamwork. We really are a team and there isn’t a single person on our staff that would turn you away if you ask for help.
If you could swap roles with anyone on the team for a day, who would it be and why? If you could swap roles with anyone on the team for a day, who would it be and why? I would swap spots with Scott’s assistant, Kathy. She gets to work hand in hand with Scott who is such a great resource for all things community management. I could really learn a lot!
What’s your hidden talent or a fun fact about you? A fun fact about me is I have a Master of Science degree from Central Washington University in Information Technology and Administrative Management. I graduated with a 4.0 while working a full-time job.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? The best advice I ever received wasn’t necessarily advice as much as it was encouragement. Encouragement to accomplish the things I wanted to accomplish. To set my mind on a goal and do what I can to achieve it.
Natalie – Administrative Assistant
Where are you from? Tacoma, WA and Ukraine. I moved back to WA in 2022.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? There are too many places to choose from but recently I’ve been thinking about Greece, Italy, and Spain.
What do you find special about VIS? The available flexibility in my schedule when needed and support from coworkers and upper management.
If you could swap roles with anyone on the team for a day, who would it be and why? I would swap roles with our mailroom clerk. I feel like they have a certain rhythm to their position and I would like to experience that for a day.
What’s your hidden talent or a fun fact about you? I sing quite well and speak three languages fluently.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? To invest in bettering yourself and growing in areas where you need to. Some of the best money I have spent has been on different types of conferences and seminars where I would leave a better person every time.
Scott, CMCA, AMS – Director of Operations
Where are you from? St. Louis, MO. I’ve lived in WA for more than 40 years.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? I would travel to Asia.
What do you find special about VIS? The wonderful team we have here.
If you could swap roles with anyone on the team for a day, who would it be and why? An Office Assistant. They have a much lighter workload and I think that would be something fun to experience for a day.
What’s your hidden talent or a fun fact about you? I am funnier than people think.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? What other people think of you is not as important as how you think of yourself.
Kathy – Assistant Community Manager
Where are you from? The Pacific Northwest.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? I would travel to Alaska on a cruise and Australia.
What do you find special about VIS? VIS has a community environment. They understand that family life is important too and allow for a flexible schedule for that work-life balance.
If you could swap roles with anyone on the team for a day, who would it be and why? I am not sure I would want to trade spots with anyone. I very much like my position.
What’s your hidden talent or a fun fact about you? I once traveled across the country with a turtle.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? Don’t burn your bridges, you never know when you might need to cross them again.
Where are you from? North Bend, WA.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? Back to the UK. I love London and Edinburgh!
What do you find special about VIS? That we have strong values we manage by, starting with compassion and empathy for our owners, and ending with continuous improvement. We love education and doing our best. I love that we take accountability where needed and strive to be a management company actually trying to help the owners in our communities.
If you could swap roles with anyone on the team for a day, who would it be and why? I would swap roles with our mailroom clerk, as I love the pace of processing mail!
What’s your hidden talent or a fun fact about you? A fun fact about me is that I love to wear pink!
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? To make sure that I have balance between work and life, as both are important to maintain.
Nezza – Assistant Community Manager
Where are you from?
I’m originally from the Philippines, but I’m currently living in Morocco.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? I have had the opportunity to visit many countries, but one place I still wish to go is Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
What do you find special about VIS? What stands out to me most about VIS is the sense of community. The people here are incredibly supportive, always helping one another out.
If you could swap roles with anyone on the team for a day, who would it be and why? I would swap roles with my Community Manager. I’m currently working remotely, so I’d love to experience the hands-on, onsite work and understand the challenges they face every day.
What’s your hidden talent or a fun fact about you? I can sing, and I’m also a big fan of Asian Dramas, Anime, and reading manhua/manhwas.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? The best advice I have received is that every day at VIS is a learning experience. We encounter new challenges and opportunities for growth each day, and it’s important to embrace that.
Anastasiya, CMCA – Community Manager
Where are you from? Originally from Uzbekistan, I have called the West Coast my home since 2004. I have resided in the PNW since 2016.
How long have you been working at VIS? Since 2022.
What do you like about WA? I love the trees!
What do you find special about VIS? During my time at VIS, I had the privilege of experiencing significant personal and professional growth, thanks to the valuable opportunities and individuals I encountered. Their influence and impact on my life have been profound, and I am forever grateful for the connections I have made and will continue to make.
What do you find most challenging about your job? Effective time management can be a challenge, especially when there are emergencies. This field is always growing and changing, and it can be hard to keep up with the most up to date information.
What are some of your hobbies? Going on walks, reading, working on home-improvement projects.
Bella – Assistant Community Manager
Where are you from? I was born and raised in the South Puget Sound area.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? I would love to visit Greece and Italy! Both countries have a rich history, beautiful landscapes, and incredible food. It would be a dream to visit.
What do you find special about VIS? The strong sense of community—everyone is always ready to help and support one another, constantly building each other up.
If you could swap roles with anyone on the team for a day, who would it be and why? I would want to swap with Sarah for the day. She has the honor of working with Judy Doyle, who I find to be one of the sweetest and kindest women I’ve met.
What’s your hidden talent or a fun fact about you? A fun fact about me is that I love to serve at my church, and I’ve recently rekindled a love of board game nights with friends and family.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? The best advice I’ve received: “If you’re faithful in the little things, you’ll be faithful in the big ones.” Trust is hard to earn and easy to lose, and you really tell someone’s character by the little things.
Stephanie – Director of Finance
Where are you from? I was raised in Leavenworth, WA before moving to the Puget Sound area in 2000.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? I would love to travel to Greece. I believe the history and culture would be extraordinary. Not to mention the beautiful weather, water, and beaches!
What do you find special about VIS? The most special aspect of working at VIS has been the company’s continuous goal to improve the culture. The fact that we have identified our values and work by them is unique and exciting.
If you could swap roles with anyone on the team for a day, who would it be and why? I think that I would like to swap roles with Scott Roth. As Director of Operations, he manages an enormous amount of work. I believe that if I had to attempt to do his job for one day I would be exhausted! However, I would definitely appreciate all the work he does for VIS Group and learn ways that I can help.
What’s your hidden talent or a fun fact about you? A fun fact about me is that I began my accounting career in the television and film industry. My first accounting job was at Fox Studios which led to a freelance position at ABC Television and America’s Funniest Home Videos. The last movie I worked on was for Warner Brothers. It was definitely a fun and fast-paced environment. But I do not regret the decision to leave the industry, settle down, and have a family!
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? The best advice I ever received was to start planning my financial future and retirement when I was young. It is amazing how much easier it is to save for retirement when you begin in your early 20s. The amount of money that you are able to save is astonishing. I wish that it was taught in high school the importance of investing early and not waiting until you are much older!
Where are you from? I am from Burbank, California.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? If I could travel anywhere, it would be to Scotland. Most of my ancestry is from England and Scotland, there is just this feeling that I need to go and visit some of the castles my family lived in during some of our most historic times. I hope to go in the next couple of years.
What do you find special about VIS? One thing I find really special about VIS is the strong team atmosphere. People are celebrated, there are outside activities to bring everyone together. It is really nice to get to know everyone here, and there is a strong sense of happiness from each staff member I have met.
If you could swap roles with anyone on the team for a day, who would it be and why? I really enjoy “walking a mile” in other people’s shoes, so I would be happy to swap roles with anyone for the day to gain a better understanding of their work day.
What’s your hidden talent or a fun fact about you? I don’t really have talents, but I do have a few fun facts: 1 – My grandma worked for Disney for 40 years before retiring and was Walt Disney’s personal secretary up until he passed. 2 – I have 10 years of martial arts experience and really enjoy it for the mental discipline it provides. 3 – I have a very famous cousin.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? The best advice I have ever received is to be as good to myself as I would be to anyone else. This is a practice that I have found the hardest to apply to my daily life, but I do work on it every day.
Where are you from? West Seattle.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? – Sicily!
What do you find special about VIS? It is a small business with potential for massive growth and there is a close-knit dynamic in the team.
If you could swap roles with anyone on the team for a day, who would it be and why? Our CEO, Eugene. I would want to see the day-to-day operations behind the scenes for all departments.
What’s your hidden talent or a fun fact about you? I used to Ice Skate competitively growing up.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? “Don’t stay silent on issues that matter to you, but don’t speak if you don’t know what you are truly saying.”
Where are you from? Mariupol, Ukraine. I have lived in Washington since 2023.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? Sweden!
What do you find special about VIS? People in the company are happy to help everyone and strive to understand others, even those with imperfect English!
If you could swap roles with anyone on the team for a day, who would it be and why? I would swap roles with the Mailroom Clerk. The machines they use to process mail look interesting and complicated.
What’s your hidden talent or a fun fact about you? When I’m focused on something, I start singing without realizing it.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? Trying and putting in effort won’t hurt you.
Andro – Customer Service Representative
Where are you from? Philippines
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? Florida, United States, It’s my dream to visit Disney World!
What do you find special about VIS? What I love most about VIS is the amazing vibe. Everyone is super supportive, and it feels like one big family. Plus, the creativity and passion everyone brings to the table make every day exciting!
If you could swap roles with anyone on the team for a day, who would it be and why? I would swap to any roles in Accounting, not only did I major in Finance, but I also enjoy working with numbers.
What’s your hidden talent or a fun fact about you? I also majored in Animation, but I decided not to pursue a career in arts, but realize I enjoyed it more doing it as a hobby.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? Learning is a never-ending process.
